
Living on the Streets… Mark Had Given Up Hope
Mark is a registered nurse who has helped others for “a whole lot of years.” “I had the big house and the cars and all the toys,” he says. “But I let life get the better of me. I turned to the bottle and went even farther down.”
Physically and emotionally destroyed, Mark went so far down that he ended up living on the streets. When he came to the Mission, he had “completely given up hope.” What he found here was food, shelter and “tough love.”
